Tricom previously had been certified under BS 7799 certifications. The ISO 27001 standard replaces the previous internationally recognized British Standard BS 7799.

These certifications demonstrate the level of importance placed by the company on security, and confirms our ability to maintain the confidentiality of the data entrusted to us.

ISO 27001:2005 is a standard establishing the requirements for an information security management system (ISMS). The certificate, outlines the rules for defining, establishing, implementing, operating, reviewing, monitoring, maintaining and improving a documented Information Security Management System within the context of an organization's overall business risks. The ISO 27001:2005 certification confirms that confidential information is not left openly visible by employees and that they are aware of, and adhere to, legal requirements, and guarantees that a company practicing this security management system has adequate and appropriate security controls in place.
